It’s easy to get depressed. To get down on yourself, to see all that is wrong with yourself, to reflect on all those mistakes still frozen in your past. Every time you recall them, the pain seems so fresh, the shame and remorse come bubbling up full of the same acidic emotion they did years ago.
However whenever those dark clouds gather over that’s when God’s perfect truth comes shinning through…..When you realize that you are still here for a reason, that there is a purpose to your life. Simply put “he’s not finished with you yet”.
When God looks at you he does not see the pieaces, the rough edges, the slips, or falls. God sees the finished project, what you are to become, the greatness of your potential. The creator of the Heavens and Earth sees the greatness locked in you, and wants to help you unlock it, wants to see you fly, wants to hear your praise, see your smile, raise up your voice to all those people who need to feel the same love he is giving to you.
The question is, will you rise to the level of your porential, to your destiny, to what has been set aside just for you, or will you stay frozen in the mistakes of your past, the mistakes that were never meant to destroy your future…but simply help to build it.
